@gross_lemming It's a short connection from Olympic Village station, I think. If not car-free, I would love to see pay parking.

@pre_planner Granville Island definitely lends itself to car-free. I'd like to see it because as it is it's a gong show of idling cars.

Classmate is doing a paper of a car-free Granville Island. Convinced it can be done. But why not start small and just CHARGE for parking?
