@camworkstv the devil is in the detail :) It is Dell XPS 8300 custom mainboard and yes vanilla Mountain Lion install. Works now, almost!

@nvidiacc Thanks for the vBIOS update for the 600 series. My brand new 670 is purring along nicely in my Dell XPS 8300 because of it.
