@jeremiahg When was last time you were asked to install a random ActiveX control? Or needed Java on a mainstream site? Used to happen often.

@Battlefield I found the problem! =) "activex filtering" must be disabled to install flashplayer which is required to install BF3 updates.

@Adobe Just found out that the "activeX filtering" must be disabled to be able to install flashplayer on IE8 win7 x64 systems.
